About Sanur
Sanur faces east, so it gets sunrise rather than sunset, and its reef-sheltered water is generally calm. A flat beachfront boardwalk runs several kilometres past cafés, warungs and older established resorts, making it one of the easiest areas in Bali to walk. It is also the main departure point for fast boats to Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and the Gili Islands. The pace suits families and repeat visitors more than nightlife seekers.
