When To Book Bali Flights

Bali's dry season runs roughly April to October and carries the highest fares, peaking through the Australian school holidays in July, September and December. The shoulder months of April, May and October usually offer the best balance of weather and price.

As a rule of thumb, book six to twelve weeks ahead for the best economy fares from the east coast, and slightly earlier for Perth and Darwin, where seat capacity is tighter. Mid-week departures are almost always cheaper than Friday and Saturday.

Check baggage allowance carefully — several carriers on the Bali route sell low base fares and charge separately for checked bags, seat selection and meals.
