Welcome to BaliDeals.deals — our founder story
Welcome to BaliDeals.deals
Bali has something to offer almost everyone — but planning the right Bali holiday isn't always as simple as it seems.
Where should you stay? What's the best time of year to visit? What do you need to pack? What are the entry requirements? How do you get from the airport to your hotel? And, once you're there, which experiences are actually worth adding to your trip?
I had many of these same questions when I first travelled to Bali. Even on subsequent trips, new questions came up as we travelled at different times of the year and explored different parts of the island.
When friends joined us, they had the same questions. We particularly wanted to make sure their first experience of Bali was a memorable one for all the right reasons.
Bali can be a very different holiday depending on when you travel and where you choose to stay. Someone looking for beaches and nightlife may want something completely different from a family, honeymoon couple or traveller looking for peace, culture and the countryside. Bali's wet and dry seasons can also make a difference to the experience.
Over the years, I've spoken with people who returned from their first Bali holiday saying, “Never again!” After asking a few questions, it was often clear that Bali itself wasn't necessarily the problem. They may simply have chosen an area that didn't suit the holiday they wanted, travelled at a time of year they weren't prepared for, or hadn't known where to find the right information before booking.
That's how the idea for BaliDeals.deals began.
I wanted to create a place where travellers could find useful Bali information, compare their options and access booking partners without having to search across dozens of different websites.
Today, BaliDeals.deals brings together information on Bali hotels, flights, destinations, things to do, airport transfers, entry requirements, eSIMs and other travel essentials, along with tools designed to make planning a Bali holiday easier.
My aim is simple: to give you useful information in one place so you can make more informed decisions about your trip — from deciding where to stay to booking the experiences that make your Bali holiday memorable.
I hope BaliDeals.deals helps you plan and book a fantastic Bali holiday.
If you have a question, please feel free to contact me. If I can help, I'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
