About Thomas
Thomas Schuette is the founder of BaliDeals.deals. He first travelled to Bali in 1988 and has returned almost every year since, apart from the COVID travel-restriction years — some years twice.
His earlier trips were as a couple, and since 2006 he has also travelled with children. He has stayed across Bali in accommodation ranging from simple budget stays and Airbnb-style accommodation to 4-star and 5-star resorts.
He founded BaliDeals.deals to bring useful Bali planning information and booking options together in one place. Content on the site combines his first-hand experience with official sources, airport and airline information, and data from accommodation and travel partners.
