When To Book Bali Flights
Bali's dry season runs April to October. From China the busiest and priciest windows are Chinese New Year, the Labour Day holiday in early May, the summer school break and National Day in early October.
Book two to three months ahead for direct services from Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Seasonal routes from Beijing, Chengdu and Hangzhou sell out earlier because capacity is limited.
Compare the direct fare against a one-stop routing through Singapore or Kuala Lumpur — the connecting fare is often cheaper and departs at a more civilised hour.
